Retry policies for bad responses

Problem
Restaurant accepts an order, Just Eat system is unable to communicate with RDS/EPOS (e.g. network error, hardware/component failure).
Restaurant starts cooking the food, customer believes the order will be delivered, delivery company is not aware of the order.

Out of scope
2 level confirmation (from restaurant and RDS/EPOS).

Solution
JUST EAT system will perform up to 4 retries (each attempt 30 seconds apart) and then give up.
Contact Centre Agent will attempt to call through the order to RDS; worst case scenario - both customer and restaurant will be notified of order cancellation.
